About
In 2018, Ny Musikk turned 80 and commissioned several short pieces for online use, each piece based on a photograph from a moment of their history. I was given the honor of using one of the iconic pictures of Pauline Hall as a starting point. Even though I had seen it many times, as I set about the task of putting it into music, it spoke to me in a different way and gained a new meaning. I decided to give it a somewhat word-heavy twist along with fable associations.
