About

I was one of three composers who participated in the Nordic project “Nordlyd” in 2018, initiated by the festival Klang. The festivals theme was “The sound of language” and I was asked to use my own voice and native tongue in the piece. I decided to write five short texts that I performed myself. The title is taken from a poem I wrote as a 5 year-old, which is also used in the piece.

The Norwegian title translates to “If you dance you are free”
