Some time ago, I was contacted by Anne-Lise Sollied, soprano and professor of voice. She was compiling a collection of works for young sopranos, featuring pieces exclusively by women composers. My piece “Men månen er alltid her” was requested for inclusion, and I was thrilled to be part of this project! To make it work, I had to reformat the piece from landscape to portrait orientation, and I’m really pleased with the new layout.
Now the collection has been published, and what an incredible group of women are featured here! The publisher writes: “This collection can serve as a resource for young singers and vocal teachers when choosing repertoire for teaching in music schools, high schools, and higher education.”
